Behind the Lens
My name is Alan Thomas, and I've spent the last fifteen years chasing light — in studios, at golden hour, in the quiet moments between the posed ones. Photography found me before I found it, and I've never looked back.
What started as a film camera borrowed from my father became a lifelong obsession with the way a single image can hold an entire feeling. I began shooting back in the 80's as a hobby, and eventually came around to build something of my own.
Today, ATA Photography is the studio I always wished existed — one that treats every session as a collaboration, every client as a creative partner, and every image as something worth making carefully.
